Matthew “Max” Tans is a lawyer in Alpharetta, Georgia with a background in technology, aviation, and entrepreneurship.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a degree in political science and has experience working for a U.S. Senator, the Navy, and Medtronic. Before joining the team at Sparks Law, Max graduated from Connecticut’s Firefighting Academy, started a small business serving as a residential IT help desk, became certified as an Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and graduated with honors from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
In the Navy, he served as a Naval Flight Officer, led aircrews around the world, and has experience leading large, complex organizations and implementing risk management strategies. Max continues to serve in the Navy as a reservist and enjoys camping, bicycling, photography, anything automotive, and raising two children with his wonderful wife Sara.
